Join UkeLab Live to get access to all UkeLab content plus live weekly classes via zoom where we can answer your questions, focus on technique, and learn practice strategies that will help accelerate your growth. You’ll also have access to high quality recordings of the classes for future reference or if you need to miss a class or want to review. Choose between Standard Track classes where we’ll focus on strumming and singing tunes, or Solo Track classes where we’ll be focusing on instrumental arrangements. Or you can attend them all if you can’t get enough uke in your life!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! Different UkeLab memberships offer different learning environments to suit your learning style, needs and schedule. You can cancel and change subscriptions at any time in your account panel.

  • Your subscription will charge monthly on the date you start and will continue to charge until you cancel.

  • UkeLab Live is the only content where it is recommended you join at a certain time during the month. New repertoire typically is introduced during classes in the first week and we work on it through the following weeks in the month. For UkeLab and UkeLab Exclusive you can join at any time.

  • That’s a great question! Like learning any new skill the more often we can practice the faster we’ll improve. I think 15-20 mins every other day is a good baseline but everyone’s learning rate and schedule is different. When it comes to learning ukulele we want shorter high frequency sessions instead of longer less frequent ones.

  • Yes…and no. Ukulele is so approachable with its gentle learning curve where you can be playing music right away. It also can be a real challenge and take a lifetime to master. If you want to dive a little deeper, check out this article on how ukulele is easy. But that’s not the whole story.

  • No. Yes. Sort of. Melody, rhythm and harmony are all necessary elements in music. When we strum we are playing rhythm and playing chords is harmony. In a standard approach we sing the melody with our voice. Although we can start out learning our first skills on ukulele without singing we eventually will need to add melody in some form to have complete music. In our Standard Live Classes and in UkeLab materials we help outline how to incorporate singing into your playing. Or maybe you have a friend that loves to sing? You can also move the melody to the uke and learn the more technical Solo approach to ukulele that we explore in one of our live classes and in content in the UkeLab library.
